Lakeside is a quiet retreat shaped by nature and time.
Set beside still waters and open skies, the resort was established in 1990 by Joe Homan as a place of calm, simplicity, and reflection. From the beginning, the land defined the experience unforced, balanced, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
In 2007, Peter William Balchin and Dorinda Anne discovered Lakeside and chose to stay. They went on to own and manage the property for many years, preserving its character and allowing it to evolve gently, without interruption to its natural rhythm.
Today, Lakeside is under the stewardship of Mrs. Meenakshi, a seasoned world traveler and founder of XPD India. Her approach to hospitality is informed by global experience and guided by restraint, care, and intention.
